Proposals
Discreet planning and coverage of the proposal, followed by a short, relaxed couple’s session once the surprise has landed.
No stiff poses. No modelling experience required.
An hour or two to slow down, explore somewhere meaningful and make photographs that feel like the two of you. Engagement sessions begin at £200.

The experience
An engagement session can celebrate a new chapter, mark an anniversary, build confidence before the wedding or quietly capture the moment you ask the question. Sessions are relaxed and location-led. We might walk beside the reservoirs in the Elan Valley, explore open hills near Llandrindod Wells, wander through woodland or choose somewhere that already means something to you.
I give enough direction to help you settle in, then make space for conversation, movement and the natural ways you connect. You will never be expected to arrive knowing how to pose. Wear something that feels like you, bring sensible shoes for the walk, and let the weather add a little character.
Together, as you are
Honest connection, gentle direction and plenty of room to be yourselves.

Get comfortable together in front of the camera before the wedding and leave with a set of photographs you genuinely enjoy.
A reason to pause and document this particular version of the two of you — no wedding plans required.

How it works
Tell me whether this is a proposal, engagement, anniversary or pre-wedding session and what you want it to feel like.
We choose a meaningful location or one of my favourite Mid Wales landscapes, then plan around light and weather.
We walk, talk and keep moving. I’ll guide you when needed, without turning the session into a string of poses.
Your edited photographs arrive in a private online gallery ready to download, share and print.

Good to know
Most sessions last around 60–90 minutes, giving us time to settle in and explore without rushing.
Choose clothes that feel like you and work together without matching exactly. Neutral, earthy tones tend to sit beautifully in the Mid Wales landscape.
A little weather can look wonderful. If conditions become unsafe or genuinely miserable, we’ll agree a new plan.
Yes. We plan the exact place, timing and signals beforehand so I can photograph discreetly, then introduce myself afterwards.
Usually, yes. Tell me when enquiring and we’ll choose a suitable location and allow time for a little joyful chaos.
