My wedding photography coverage starts from £550. The right option depends on the hours, locations and parts of the day you want documented.

Every package includes planning support, relaxed documentary coverage, careful editing and a private online gallery of high-resolution photographs. Coverage length and optional extras vary by package.

Popular Saturdays can book well ahead, so enquire once your date and venue are confirmed. Weekday, winter and shorter-notice weddings may have more availability, so it is always worth asking.

Yes. Shorter coverage can work beautifully for intimate ceremonies, weekday weddings and celebrations where the meaningful part of the story happens within a few hours.

You are in very good company. Portraits are conversational and lightly directed, with walking, talking and movement instead of a string of stiff poses.

It means watching for real interactions and anticipating moments instead of staging the whole day. I still offer calm direction for group photographs and portraits when it is useful.

We work with it. I use window light, sheltered areas and gaps between showers while continuing to photograph the real story indoors. A wet forecast does not mean a dark or disappointing gallery.

Yes. We agree a concise list beforehand and photograph it efficiently, ideally with one helpful person gathering each group. That protects more time for natural photographs.

You do not need to list standard moments such as the ceremony, rings or speeches. Please share unusual traditions, surprises and important people. A short family list is useful; a huge checklist can make the day less natural.

Usually, yes. I work quietly with available light and respect rules set by the minister or venue. Confirming restrictions before the wedding avoids surprises.

Yes, subject to availability. Extra coverage, a second photographer, an engagement session and albums can be discussed around the scale and logistics of your day.

The number varies with the length, pace and events of the day. I do not pad galleries with duplicates or test frames; every delivered photograph is individually selected and edited.

Your delivery timeframe is confirmed in your agreement. Every gallery is edited carefully rather than rushed, and I will keep you informed if seasonal workload affects the expected date.

Your finished photographs arrive in a private online gallery that is easy to view, download and share with family and friends.

No. RAW files are unfinished working files. You receive the carefully selected, colour-corrected and fully edited high-resolution photographs that make up the finished story.

Yes. Your gallery is supplied for personal viewing, downloading, sharing and printing. Copyright remains with the photographer, while your personal usage permission is explained in the agreement.

Yes. You do not need to make every album decision before the wedding. Ask about options when booking or after you have had time to enjoy the finished gallery.

It is a relaxed photography session before the wedding, usually lasting around 60–90 minutes. It helps you get comfortable with the camera and can provide photographs for invitations or a wedding website. Read the complete pre-wedding shoot guide.

Wear clothes that feel comfortable and recognisably you. Coordinated rather than identical colours work well, and sensible footwear is useful for countryside walks.

Later afternoon and evening often provide softer light, but the best time depends on season, terrain and weather. Cloud can be beautiful too. See my guide to light and timing.

A little weather can add atmosphere. We can use shelter, adjust the route or move the start time. If conditions would be unsafe or genuinely miserable, we agree another plan.

Yes. We plan the exact place, timing, position and signals beforehand so I can photograph from a distance, then continue with a short portrait session after the yes.

Usually, yes. Tell me when enquiring so we can choose a suitable location, allow time for breaks and embrace a little joyful chaos.

Travel across Mid Wales is included in the published wedding coverage. For celebrations further afield, share every location when enquiring and any additional travel or accommodation will be clear before booking.

Absolutely. Share every postcode and access detail early. I help build realistic travel margins so the journey does not squeeze the ceremony, portraits or time with guests.

Yes. I suggest places according to your plans, accessibility, season and the feeling you want. A meaningful nearby location is usually better than losing an hour travelling to a famous viewpoint.
